I do think the stains could be cleaned or at the very least lightened and made less noticeable - however

but they are not very obvious due to the dark blue color

I believe each star represents a loved on in service

There is a repair on one shoulder (the repair is covering rust stains - probably from a wire hanger)

These are for the larger size German binoculars, which I believe are the 10X50's. The case is in overall very nice or good to excellent condition. The markings appear to have been scratched out a bit. The latch is in good order, but it does hang open a bit, the case needs binoculars inside for the latch to come under tension.
