It was done very carefully by whoever did it so it is hard to tell its missing

It is my understanding it wasn't really very good when it was fresh

This is a super nice all original German medics canteen with its original pigskin shoulder strap (which is always missing)

The inside is pretty clean with just some gunk/rust on the bottom shelf
