the coating on the leather looks to have melted

There are a few scratches and the top were the lid fits on

The belt shows wear and discoloration around the edges

often times the mesh around the hinge comes loose

Its a little worn but still in good condition. The top rim is not a perfect circle any more. Great for cooking or drinking, maybe a little of both if your cooking right.
