The Sutton Hoo Rectangular Buckle S-36 tudor 1 7/8” (4This buckle was found in poor shape underneath the sword scabbard and is the only piece to have sustained obvious damage Many of the garnets (103 in total!) were cracked or broken and five are missing. The buckle is warped and the loop end is twisted. It was found upside down. 3 x 1" (7. 7 x 2. 5 cm)
