German Army NCO's Whistle and Lanyard hygiene It is the perfect reenactingOriginal German army whistle with its original, albeit worn, lanyard. The whistle is a bit dirty and has light wear, like its been in a pocket or junk drawer for a while. The lanyard has some fraying in places. I don't think I would use the lanyard, it's more of a display piece.
