I set off from the trailhead with camera gear and tripod in hand on this cool summer morning at Wildflower Park

With the abundance of wildflowers that include common milkweed and swamp milkweed that are host plants to the monarch caterpillars

Only a few meters away were more wildflowers that were being illuminating brilliantly by the morning sun

I photographed this section of the creek for about an hour coming away with some beautiful images of the box elder trees and their reflection onto the creek
