Continuing your drive past the quaint village of Naramata

I walked across to the park one afternoon to see what I could see and infact caught this charming scene of a daddy walking very slowly

was symbolic for me and was something I had always wanted

And so I came upon this beautiful vision of colors

Lonesome Pine Vancouver Continuing your drive past theThis scene is inspired by a single tree in Naramata, BC. Starting with a sketch and then back to studio to complete the painting from memory. Although the scene has elements from Naramata looking across to the Summerland cliffs it is not specifically anywhere. The colors are chosen simply because i love them and seemed to create a dreamy world for me to rest in for a while.
