The cat, an iconic element of the GUNIA universe inspired by the 20th century embroidered rushnyk, is reinterpreted in the new shape of the vase. The painted design is inspired by motifs from naive embroidered rushnyky from the Ivan Honchar Museum. The piece is handmade and hand painted at GUNIAs Kyiv based ceramic facility, upholding the tradition of craftsmanship and supporting contemporary artisans. The use of gilding highlights the
