It's round, and formed from a single piece of carved yellow chalcedony with an ornate locket compartment offset from the centre of the dome. The gold frame around the stone is ornately worked with rococo inspired designs, and the locket compartment is home to a woven lock of hair and adorned with tiny rope and granulated decoration.
